Frequently asked questions

The questions patients ask most, answered the way Katherine answers them at the boutique. Anything not covered here is welcome at your complimentary consultation.

The big ones

Most patients describe it as a quick pinch. The needle is very small, each injection takes seconds, then you are done in under 30 minutes. No numbing is needed for this one.

Filler appointments are different: the filler itself contains lidocaine and topical numbing is available, so comfort is managed the whole way through.

More about Botox

Typically 6 to 24 months, which depends on the filler chosen and where it is placed. Results show immediately, then keep improving for another 2 to 3 weeks while the filler settles into your tissue.

More about dermal fillers

This is the most common worry, and it shapes how Katherine works. She trained specifically in facial balancing and lip enhancement, so treatment plans are built around your existing proportions.

Conservative dosing keeps your normal expression, with room to add more at a later visit.

How facial balancing works

Usually very little. Botox patients typically head straight back to their day. Filler can bring a few days of swelling or light bruising. Microneedling can keep skin pink anywhere from 24 to 72 hours, while peels flake for a few days depending on depth.

Katherine reviews exact aftercare for your treatment before you leave.

You do not need to know. That is what the consultation is for. Tell Katherine what bothers you, and she will lay out the options with the price of each one. You decide from there.

Yes, consultations are complimentary. You talk through your concerns and goals. You leave with a clear plan, numbers included.

Treatment by treatment

All three are neurotoxin injectables that soften lines by easing the muscle movement beneath them. Their formulas differ slightly, so units are dosed differently. Katherine walks you through the options, then you choose the product you prefer.

Compare neurotoxins

Micro doses of neurotoxin placed across the face and neck, closer to the surface than standard Botox. It is used to smooth skin texture while keeping normal expression.

Come with clean, makeup-free skin, and skip alcohol for the 24 hours before your visit.

The complete prep list, from NSAIDs to retinoids with the exact timing for each, is on the dermal filler page. If you are pregnant or nursing, injectables wait until you are done.

Dermal filler details

Usually more than one, spaced about a month apart. It varies with how much fullness is under the chin and the result you are after. Once the treated cells are gone, they are gone for good.

How Kybella works

Plan on 3 to 6 visits, with 4 to 6 weeks between them. Collagen rebuilds gradually, so results keep developing for weeks after each session.

Microneedling details

Light peels may flake for a day or two. Deeper peels can peel for up to 2 weeks. Katherine matches the peel depth to your skin and your schedule, then sends you home with exact aftercare.

Chemical peel details

Depending on the blend, an infusion takes 30 to 90 minutes. You can rest, read, or catch up on your phone, then return to normal activity right away.

See the IV menu

A single shot into the muscle, once a week, of either vitamin B12 or B12 plus the lipotropic MIC blend. Each visit takes a few minutes with nothing to recover from, and the four-shot package covers a month.

Vitamin injection details

Each one nudges your skin to make fresh collagen rather than relying on synthetic volume. PRP concentrates the platelets from your own blood. EZ Gel turns your plasma into a natural gel filler. Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid to trigger collagen production over several months.
