Hyaluronic acid filler for lip shape, border definition, and volume. Lip enhancement, along with facial balancing, is Katherine’s deepest training area, and each plan starts with an assessment at a complimentary consultation.
Treatment areas Lip body, lip border, philtrum area, and the corners of the mouth
- Benefits
-
- Addresses shape and border definition as well as volume
- Immediate results, fully settled within 2 to 3 weeks
- Built-in lidocaine, with topical numbing available on top
- Made from hyaluronic acid, the same molecule skin produces on its own
- Katherine’s approach
-
Before treatment, Katherine assesses lip shape, symmetry, and proportion, along with how the lips relate to the rest of the face. Product amount and placement are planned from that assessment, then the filler is placed zone by zone with symmetry checked as she goes.
She often recommends a smaller amount first, with a review visit to decide whether more is needed. Lip filler is one part of the wider dermal filler menu, priced the same as every other filler area.
- Who it’s for
-
Thinning lips, asymmetry between upper and lower, a border that has softened, or a first lip appointment you are nervous about. Injectables wait until pregnancy and nursing are behind you.
- The process
-
First comes a complimentary consultation covering the plan and the cost. On treatment day your lips are numbed, then filler goes in a little at a time.
You will see the change immediately. Swelling settles over the first days, with the true result visible by week 2 or 3.
- Downtime
-
Lips swell more than other filler areas, so give them a few days. For the first 2 nights, sleep on your back. Skip exercise for 24 hours.
Her lip-specific instructions rule out straws, smoking, and heavy kissing for the 2 weeks after treatment.

Common questions
Katherine’s focus is natural-looking lip enhancement. In practice that means conservative amounts placed for shape first, with more added at a later visit only if you want it. If she thinks a request is more product than your lips need, she tells you before anything is booked.
Filler generally holds 6 to 24 months, with the product and the area setting the pace. Lips are the most mobile part of the face, so expect the shorter end of that range. Quick top-ups keep the result steady.
Lips are sensitive, so this is the area where numbing matters most. Between the topical anesthetic and the lidocaine inside the filler, most patients find it easier than they expected.
Follow the aftercare: keep your face off the pillow for the first couple of nights, and skip straws or smoking for 2 weeks. Placement technique matters as well.
